Hello everybody,

long time no blogpost and no new works…
but we got something cool today.
Haven’ t took pictures for a while with the DSLR… But with something we
always got with us. Yes you know what I’m talking about..
UR CELLPHONE (in our case an iPhone 4S)

Everyone knows that problem… a DSLR camera is heavy bulky and what not.
But what we always got with us is a cellphone where a decent camera is build in.
Come on F2.4 in a phone is realy awesome.

We had a small chat with Steve Bitanga from L.A. California when he was here in Germany with Amy Fay.
It was realy funny. We use both good equipment for taking pictures but. One of the main things we talked
was about taking picutures with an iPhone. This guy had a realy dope prototype of iphonecase.
Hope it will be released soon. Need to put our hands on that little puppy.
Makes the phone heavier and bulkier so you can handle it way better and a freakin awesome lense.
check out this pic ;-) #izzigadgets

Taking pitures:

Currently we use the plain camera or with the olloclip lense.
This includes an fisheye, wideangle and macro lense.
We were very skeptical as we read about such lenses few years ago. But gave it a try now for weeks.
…..and we never leve the house without it anymore =)
One of the maintricks imho is that you have to take pictures without the flash.
If you use it…. pictures will look so crapy.
Instead i would take a second iphone and use a flashlight app to create extra light but not from the front.
maybe from the side. Or maybe just a simple lighter would help also.
Check your enviroment and see where the light comes from and use it for your benefit.

Apps:

The beauty about taking pictures with your iPhone is.. that you can instantly retouch them or i dunno… share.
Here is a list of apps you should have one your phone no matter what:

Snapseed – is THE photoediting app. You can do so much with it just swiping around your finger watch
Diptic – is a very cool app where you can combine many pictures into one.
Retouch – is an app where you can quickly remove some stuff you dont want in the picture.
PowerCam – is an app we use now for few days and are realy impressed what it can do. not figured out everything yet but the features are very good.

Samples:

Also take a look at a video which i found a while ago. Very impressive how Lee Morris did a whole photoshoot just with an iPhone 3GS.
